What do we do?

At our workshop, you’ll pour your very own scented candle in a group setting of up to 16 people.

Choose from over 200 fragrance oils and blend two of your favorites into a custom scent. Our team will guide you through the process so you can take home a candle that’s truly yours.

This workshop is all about creativity and fun, not business training. It’s a great way to spend time with family, friends, or a loved one — or come solo and enjoy meeting new people at the table. Either way, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind candle.

How much does it cost?

Workshops require a $10 seat fee** (booked online).

When you arrive, you’ll choose your container from our collection, ranging from $22–$72 (while supplies last).

All fragrance oils, wax, wicks, and supplies are included with your container purchase.

​

**Seat fees are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once within 90 days of your original booking.**

Yes! Scroll to the bottom of this page for photos of some of our available vessels.

How long does it take?

• Workshop time: 35–45 minutes to pour your candle.

• Cooling time: about 1 hour to solidify before it’s ready to take home.

 

For workshops that end before 6PM, you’re welcome to explore Lowe Mill’s shops, studios, and artists while your candle sets.

For workshops and parties that end after 6PM, candles will need to be picked up another day, or you may choose delivery/shipping for a small fee.

Is the workshop kid-friendly?

Yes, with some guidelines:

• Recommended for ages 7 and up.

• Children under 12 must have an adult present to help with hot liquids.

• Adults should use discretion with fragrance oils, as excessive spillage may incur a fee.

 

Our friendly staff will guide kids and adults alike to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.

Wait! Do you offer private candle parties?

Absolutely! We love hosting groups at our table.

Private parties are popular for:

• Couples nights

• Bachelorette parties

• Birthdays

• Book clubs

• Corporate events and team gatherings

Just fill out our Candle Party Request Form with your details and preferred dates. Once confirmed, a $10 seat fee per guest (minimum $80) secures your party.
