What happens at a workshop?

You will take a seat at the table to create something uniquely yours. Whether you are pouring a candle, blending a custom perfume, or refilling a favorite vessel, you will have full access to our library of 200+ fragrance oils. Our team will guide you through the process of scent design, blending, and pouring—no experience required.

How long does it take?

• Public Workshops (Candles & Perfume): Plan for about 45–60 minutes of instruction and pouring time.

• Private Parties: These are booked in 2-hour blocks to allow time for socializing after the pour.

When can I take my creation home?

• Perfume & Cologne: Ready immediately! You can wear it out the door.

• Candles: After pouring the wax takes approximately 60 to 70 minutes to cool and set solid enough to travel. While you wait, we encourage you to explore Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment, or visit nearby entertainment districts like Stovehouse, Campus 805, Downtown Huntsville, or historic Twickenham. 

• Note: If you book one of our last time slots of the day, your candle will likely need to be picked up the following business day.

Are the workshops kid-friendly?

Yes, but safety is our priority since we work with hot wax (180°F) and glass.

• Age Recommendation: We recommend ages 8 and up.

• Supervision: Children under 12 must have a participating adult present at the table to assist with the hot pitcher.

• Safety: We ask that guardians help younger guests handle fragrance oils carefully to ensure a safe and mess-free experience.

 

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends, as our workshops frequently sell out. We do accept walk-ins if there are open seats at The Table; however, the $10 Seat Fee is still required to join the session. You can secure your spot instantly using the calendar below.

Do you offer private parties?

Absolutely. We love hosting groups! We offer two distinct private experiences:

1. The Private Social: Perfect for birthdays and bridal showers. (8 Guest Minimum).

2. The Team Experience:  All-inclusive team building for companies and small groups. (6 Guest Minimum).

Can I bring my own vessel?

Yes! We love giving old containers a new life. We charge $2.50 per ounce.

• Requirement: Vessels must be clean, dry, and free of old wax before you arrive. We can pour into glass, ceramic, or sealed metal, but cannot use wood or porous materials.
