A Fresh Voice in the Studio
Hi everyone, Gabe here!
It’s my honor to introduce you to a new face and a new creative voice at Embrace.
Tiana joined our team last year as a Workshop Host and an Assistant Maker, and her first contribution to a collection is something we’re truly proud of.
This is her first time creating her own original candles, and she brought a thoughtful, grounded, and imaginative perspective to the Maker’s Collection.
In fact, this blog is titled “Meet The Maker: Tiana’s Maker Collection Candles” because she’s not just a new maker, she is a new storyteller with scent.
Pouring with Purpose
From the very beginning, Tiana approached candle-making with clarity and calm.
She asked deep questions about scent structure and wasn't afraid to mix, remix, and remix again.
What stood out most was how intentional she was.
Every note had to feel right.
That mindset reminded us of our own early days, chasing the feeling we wanted to create, not just the fragrance itself.
Watching her pour her first batch was a quiet little celebration.
Tiana’s Maker Collection Candles
Dark Academia
This candle reflects Tiana’s current path as she studies to become a therapist.
It’s introspective, warm, and grounding.
This blend of cranberry, teakwood, cedar, leather, sandalwood, musk and patchouli is truly unique.
It’s the scent of deep thoughts, old books, and emotional depth.
Soirée Showers
This one came from her love of a good afternoon tea.
With Piper & Leaf just next door, it’s a perfect fit.
Soirée Showers is floral, airy, and refreshingly bright.
Imagine the scent of spring blooms drifting through open windows while friends gather and pass the teapot.
Together, these candles show two very different sides of Tiana’s creative style.
And both are stunning.
