When we lived up north one of our favorite family traditions each fall was apple picking.

Heading out to the local farm, baskets in hand, we would spend the day filling them and enjoying the many farm fresh treats.

The day was always filled with laughter, doughnuts, so much walking, and way too many apples for our kitchen.

Those are the moments that feel like fall to us.
