Job Description
Embrace Candles is focused on empowering people to change the feeling of a room. We do this through scented goods; our primary product is amazing candles. We are looking to hire seasonal candlemakers to help us throughout the year. Embrace Candles operates out of Lowe Mill in Huntsville Alabama, a makers and artist space.

Typical shifts will be evening shift (5pm start) on Mondays and Tuesdays for 4 weeks. Hours may increase and shift times may vary based on the shops needs. Additional days available will be discussed during interview.
General Requirements

Reliable transportation to and from the studio

Ability to work well with others in a production space
Physical Requirements

Exceptional fine motor skills when handling liquids over 180 degrees

Ability to work accurately – ensuring consistency and quality

Ability to read and follow recipes and multiply

Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time

Ability to manipulate objects with both hands
Responsibilities

Help us grow by meeting production goals

Able to accurately and precisely weigh and mix ingredients

Able to troubleshoot execution problems

Offer fragrance and product ideas during seasonal meetings

Maintain all Studio production equipment by cleaning regularly
Education/Credentials

High school education/GED preferred

This is an entry level opportunity as you will be an early employee in the candle shop. The startup phase will be intense but fun! One great benefit as we grow is having early entry to other opportunities that open for positions in retail, product design, marketing, sales, etc.
